I have migraine. One of my primary triggers is barometric pressure shifts. When this happens the muscles in my neck, shoulders, over the skull and forehead seize up like a rock and it is very tender and painful to touch, then the headache pain begins. It can last 2-3 days. I use this cream over that entire area and within minutes it helps to release the tightness and spasm. It works best if I catch it early. I do reapply it every 2 hours or so during onset of an attack. Mast cells secrete histamine amongst other things and histamine causes muscle contraction.
